The first examination cycle for 2018 is now officially closed. The testing was done from Monday, April 2 through Friday, April 27, 2018. The final exam results will become available within two weeks of the last exam day. Examinees will be notified of their final exam scores via e-mail. Successful candidates will be granted a CCH Candidate status and further information will be provided with requisites to achieve full CCH certification.

Registration for the October exam will be open to all prospective examinees from August 6 through September 21, 2018.

Zara

Zara Bourgeois, CCH was elected as a Board Director in August, 2017 and assumed the position of Chair to the Social Media/PR Committee in November, 2017. She has been a practicing homeopath since 2003, and is currently based in Alberta, Canada.

The Social Media/PR Committee is tasked to develop a comprehensive marketing and  communication plan for educating and promoting the value of the CCH credentials, to create and enhance the image of the CHC through positive visibility. Creating effective marketing/communication plan and action will encourage continuous recertification and attract new candidates. Committee members will be tasked with creating content and/or share existing and new content on social media platforms (i.e. Facebook and Twitter).

Conference

The 8th Annual Integrative Medicine for the Underserved Conference  will be held June 21-23, 2018 at George Washington University in Washington D.C.  The conference theme this year is  "Justice & Equity in Policy and Practice"  and the focus will be on addressing all factors - clinical, social, and structural - that will help attain health equity.  There will be some incredibly engaging, practical presentations and workshops looking at improving access and care in underserved populations, as well as an emphasis on policy and advocacy both on a community and legislative level.  

Homeopathy will be represented there as well which is extremely encouraging!

  • A policy and advocacy workshop including a congressional briefing on Capitol Hill covering "Non-Pharmacologic Approaches to Pain in Underserved Populations."
  • A focus on racial justice as a means to advancing health equity
  • Presentations on trauma and various approaches to resilience
  • A health equity panel focused on grassroots organizations making change in their own communities
  • Panel discussions on integrative approaches to pain from both policy and clinical perspectives
  • Research presentations and poster sessions
  • The ability to connect with a diverse array of clinicians and healers committed to health equity and justice.
